In 2014 Vitra presented for the first time a walk-in advent calendar in the VitraHouse on the company campus in Weil am Rhein designed by Herzog & de Meuron . Within the exhibition space every day the door to a new box containing an idea for a Christmas present was opened. These doors were labeled with large paper numbers specifically created for this installation. To advertise the event to the public a poster was added.
